Film of the musk oxen fighting september 2010.
In September 2010, I went with a German team of wildlife film makers to film the fighting of musk oxen in the Dovrefjell National Park (Norway). We wanted to film those fights with a high speed camera in order to see the shock wave propagating on the fur of the animals. After ten days waiting for the right time, the right light and the right temperature for the camera, we succeeded. We also were lucky enough to film the fighting of wild reindeers.
