All the materials composing the handles are assembled by hand. The products used for the finish are as ecological as possible : linen oil, tung oil, camelia oil... except when the customer asks for the handle to be extremely shiny or varnished. A knife must be taken care of and sharpened. It isn't a bad point for me, it's rather a way of respecting the object.
I particularly like Japanese tools (saws, hammers...). Not because it's fashionable but for their real qualities, and preciseness when you use them.
The work in the forge : sometimes I use a gas Forge or a coal one. In most cases, the blades are forged with a hammer, sometimes with a pneumatic one, or in a "stock removal" way. It depends on the project, on the steel and the chosen design.
